For my concentration series I decided to show the hard work people put into the sport they love. To create the look of intensity and focus I took these photos while the character was in action. I chose to layer the people onto a background having to do with the sport. I feel like this adds an inside view to the sport. I wanted to do this as my series because I am involved in many sports and I put a lot of effort into the sport. I wanted others to see how important sports are in people’s lives.

Week One
In these first few images I am trying to show the difference in a little girls hand and her older sister. I am trying to show a small and fragile look in these photos.
Your lighting really enhances your subject matter. The warm background creates a comforting mood to these images as well. I would experiment with eye level. Most of these are centered and taken straight on. You could zoom in more to create movement by having the edges move in and off the page. You need a little more complexity in your compositions. Looking forward to your next group of pictures!
